Like father, like daughter :)

So life has been really crazy lately, and I find myself at home with my parents while Dave is in Atlanta moved in already with all our stuff. The original plan was that Peyton and I would wait for Matasha to get done with school, then the three of us would fly out there together. Since then, we switched alarm companies and are now going to sell for APX. (They basically just offered us a better deal. It was a ROUGH decision, but we decided to do what we felt was best for our family.) Also, Dustin and Tasha decided to end their summer sales and stay home this summer. So it turns out Peyton and I could have left earlier since we don't need to wait for Matasha to finish school, but that's okay. We have enjoyed our time with Grandma and Grandpa Mason. Peyton has become such a social butterfly lately. She used to not like a lot of attention or crowds, but now she THRIVES on people's attention. :) She just loves my mom and dad and all my sisters.
Anyway, I miss Dave. I REALLY MISS HIM! They say absence makes the heart grow fonder and I think it is true. I don't know what I would do without him. 10 days has seemed like FOREVER! I got looking at these pictures tonight and laughed at what a pair my two loves are. :) Peyton ADORES her daddy, and he just loves her more than the world. One night in Rexburg, they were sitting on the couch together and Peyton would allof a sudden turn to him and give him a funny laugh and a smile. It was SO FUNNY! Where this girl comes up with her corky personality, I don't know (okay, maybe she is related to her parents). So Dave would do it back to her. It went on and on that I finally got myself to stop laughing and ran for my camera. They are seriously my favorite pictures in the whole world. I can't tell you how happy these two make me. They make me giggle on a daily basis. After all the giggles and smiles,Peyton just kicked back with Dad on the couch again. :) Don't I have the cutest family?

Anyway, as much as Peyton and I have loved our long awaited time to spend with Grandma and Grandpa Mason, we are really excited to fly out to Atlanta on Monday to be with Dave. We miss our family cuddle time on the couch and waking up daddy in the mornings. Peyton gives the CUTEST early morning smiles with that crazy hair of hers all messed up and I don't know how Dave has survived this long without it. :) Peyton's face just brightens and her eyes get so big when she sees Dave. She is truly a daddy's girl. She loves me and usually wants me when it comes time for bed or when she needs to be fed or comforted; but the bond she has with Dave is so amazing and so cute. She just gets so excited to hear Dave say "Hello Princess", that I nearly melt myself. I just love these two crazies so much. :)

Peyton Update--lots of pics!!!

My dad has always said that if you really want to find something you've lost--replace it; then the old one will show back up. :) Well, I haven't posted any pictures for a LONG time because I lost my camera charger at the Bailey's over Christmas. So I wasn't able to get any pictures off my camera onto the computer. Well, after waiting for a long time for my charger to show up, I went and bought a new one.... any day now my charger will be found I'm sure. But oh well. :)

So here is a big update of Peyton. There is nothing else really spectacular going on in our lives besides her and since I am a picture-happy mom, I have a bunch of pictures of her to show you all. Enjoy!

This is how I would go do laundry. We have to go to the front of our apartment complex to do laundry and when Dave was gone all day at school, I would just bundle her up and carry her with the laundry! She is about six weeks old in this picture.

Derek (Dave's cousin) and Dave were both expecting daughters at the same time. Peyton was born October 23rd, and baby Danny was born October 26th. This is a picture of the two cuties together. Peyton just kept cuddling up to Danny, and Danny just took it like a champ--just happy as could be. I know these two little angels will be long-time friends.

On Dave's mom's side, Peyton was the 100th grandchild born in the combined families of Ralph and Edith Osborne. So in honor of that, on her blessing day, Great-grandma Edith presented Peyton with a plaque with a silver baby spoon on it. This picture shows the 4 generations on that side.

I wish I would have had a professional picture taken of Peyton in her blessing dress. Well actually it is MY blessing dress. Yep, this is the one that I was blessed in 24 years ago. :) I thought it would be a fun tradition to bless my baby girls in it.

This is my Grandma Dona loving on her newest great-granddaughter. She crocheted Peyton's beautiful blessing blanket. Everyone says she is pure Bailey, but I see Mason in her here with grandma. I love this picture. :)

Baby swap. :) I love this picture of Dave and Tasha with their girls. It is amazing how much Anna loves her cousin. This is Peyton's ONLY cousin actually. Anna always says "baby, baby" whenever Peyton is around. She gives her kisses, throws away her diapers for me, puts her binki in her mouth, and just about everything else. Recently we just found out that Tasha is pregnant! Anna is going to be such a good big sister :)

These are some Christmas pictures we took of the two girls. We took seriously like 100 pictures and had maybe 3 turn out good. Either Anna was too interested with the giant Christmas ornaments or Peyton was fussy or falling down. But with some cropping, we were able to get a few good ones.

This is my little bear at 3 months old. Poor girl is always bundled up whenever I leave! Rexburg is just so cold all the time!

Peyton's proud grandparents :) This is Christmas Eve at Grandma Dona's annual Christmas party.

Peyton handled Santa pretty well this year. I don't know how it will go next year, but for now she doesn't mind the jolly bearded man. (2 months old)

Hangin' out with McCall in her curlers. "All that hair!" is always the first thing I hear when someone new sees Peyton, but with all that hair comes a lot of work. Some days (well, most days really) it is just crazy! But my mom put me in curlers all the time when I was little and Peyton will probably get the same torture throughout her life too. :)

Peyton chatting away with Great-grandpa Bailey. This picture is priceless :)

Playing with my girl! She is so much fun. Everyday her personality shines through more and more. She is such a goofy little girl-- so smiley all the time and wanting to play all day! It's hard to get anything done with such a cutie demanding all my attention.

I love these pictures (I know-- I say that about EVERY picture!) I just wish I could get all of her expressions on camera. She just pulls faces, screams, drools, smiles, sings (yes she hums to me when I am singing to her--love it!), and everything. She has even started saying "mmmmom"!! I don't think she knows what she is saying, but it just melts my heart. Dave says he's glad she's saying mom first because then when she gets fussy and calls for mom, he can just sit back. :)

Ha ha! This one scares me a little because I think she looks more like a little girl than a baby. I haven't pulled her hair into too many ponytails yet because her hair is still so fine, but I just had to do it for a picture. :) She is such a silly-girl.

We took Peyton out to the nature park to meet the ducks for the first time. She wasn't too sure about the ducks, but she loved being outdoors. The cold-air and sun would hit her and she would squint and squeal at the same time. It was so cute! There were some big geese out there larger than Peyton! We threw popcorn to them and they came right up to us.

And this is my little angel now. She is 5 months old and weighs around 15 pounds (about the 56 percentile). She is just starting on rice cereal and taking it quite well. Most nights she only wakes up once to eat and goes right back down (such a blessing!). She can roll over from her tummy to back, but HATES it when I leave her on her belly. She LOVES her daddy and lights up when he comes home. She has just learned how to give kisses (big slobbery ones). Oh, and she loves books. She will even just sit and listen as I read to her. That's about it. She is just a little angel. :)

We're going to Atlanta!

I don't think that we have really told everyone yet, but this summer Dave and I decided that we are going to go selling security systems with Platinum. We are going with a bunch of my friends from High School, so I am pretty excited. Anyway, we just found out tonight that we are going to Atlanta, Georgia! I've been looking up pictures and attractions and there is pretty much nothing that isn't in Atlanta. It's got it all! We'll leave at the end of April. :)

imgres.jpg Gotta love those Georgia peaches! :)

Sorry that you only get pictures from the internet. I lost my camera charger somewhere at the Bailey's and can't get any photos downloaded onto my computer, nor take any new ones. :( I really need to send you all some updated pictures of Peyton too. She is getting so big and is starting to play and squeal ALL THE TIME! She is so fun. We just love her to death. She is already 3 1/2 months old and is already getting so big.

Family Pictures

The day after Thanksgiving the whole extended Bailey clan headed up to Little Cottonwood Canyon for a big family picture. It was so pretty up there with the snow and some fall leaves hanging on to the trees still. After we had the big family picture taken, we took some of our own with our own cameras. Here are the ones we took.

Our first family picture :)

Dave edited this one-- we look like the Cullen family all serious and dressed in black :)

The two granddaughters with Sir and Grammy B.. We got them matching outfits--they looked so cute!

Peyton's Blessing

Hey everyone,
Just thought I would let you all know that we are going to bless Peyton in Aurora this Sunday (the 22nd) at 9:00 a.m. You are all invited to come!
