Haircut!

I've been saying for a while that I am going to cut my hair, but then I always chicken out. Well, I finally got sick of it last week and just did it. It's a fun change. My hair grows so fast that I figured if I don't like it, it will be back in a few months anyway. Here's a pic.

It's a Girl!!!

About a week and a half ago we had our 20-week ultrasound-- the exciting one!  Going into the ultrasound, Dave asked the lady, "How often do the babies not show their sex?"  The lady said, "Oh, they always do."  We were anxious to find out and as she took her time measuring the babies' head and bones, we were dying inside for her to just tell us what it was first!  Finally she starts looking.  Well, I have to say, we have a stubborn little girl on our hands already!  As the lady started looking for either a profile picture or what sex it was, the baby just put her head down and locked her legs shut!  She did NOT want us to see what she was or see a profile picture (camera-shy I guess).  The nurse was like, "hmm..."  She tried and tried and the baby would just not move.  She was sort of eating her words that all babies show, so she started to push on my belly in all places trying to make the baby uncomfortable so that she would move.  After a while of her not moving, I even started to suck in and out and moved around trying to get her to move.  FINALLY she did.  She rolled over for us to get a pretty good profile shot and just enough for us to find out that it is a girl. :)  We couldn't be happier.
We made some cute little Father's Day cards to break the news to our families.  Over the past few months we have talked about names, and the only girl name that ever stuck was Peyton.  We have thought of others, but for some reason, we just know that she is a Peyton.  She is on schedule to be born on October 29th and for right now is in the 38th percentile for size. The doctor said, that is just right for right now.  :)

Her spinal column and skeletal structure. I think it's cool-- seriously just amazing!
